Fundraising Goal – $40,000

With the help of Kanab City, Kane County, the Mormon Heritage Foundation, and private donors we have reached our goal to raise $40,000. The Monument is now fully funded and construction is underway. The expected completion date is October 25, 2024. We are currently planning the “Dedication Ceremony” to honor these amazing women.

Honoring Kanab’s All-Women Town Council

This initiative project is to honor the Kanab All-Woman Town Council (1912-1914) with a monument as a fitting tribute to their pioneering efforts.

Project Objective: To build the first monument to safeguard and honor the extraordinary work and dedication of one of our Nation’s First and Utah’s First All-Women Town Councils – The Kanab All-Woman Town Council, 1912-1914.
